Moëlan-sur-Mer is a charming little Breton town in the immediate vicinity of our Le Pouldu campsite. It only takes 15 minutes to get from our campsite to the seaside and river town of Moëlan-sur-Mer. You’ll find yourself in a commune that lives to the rhythm of Breton culture, with its summer festivals and local craft stores. Its historic sites bear witness to a rich past, including numerous chapels and a beautiful church built on the remains of an oratory. There are also fountains, wash-houses, several manor houses and a large number of megaliths.

Lovers of culinary specialties won’t want to miss the big Tuesday and Saturday markets, especially as Moëlan-sur-Mer is a popular gastronomic destination. This is where you’ll find the famous flat oyster, which is available in seafood restaurants and can also be bought directly from the port du Bélon. For example, you can walk in the Carnoët forest, just outside Moëlan and our campsite. If you prefer the seaside, follow the GR34 (also known as the Sentier des Douaniers) along the coast. You’ll discover exceptional panoramas, including the Ile Percée, which can be reached at low tide.
