⚡ Charging points designed by EV drivers, for EV drivers
For us, ecology and respect for nature are not just marketing claims. We have been driving fully electric vehicles ourselves every day since 2020, and our entire work vehicle fleet is now electric.
We know all too well the stress of watching the battery level drop on the way to your holiday destination, or having to deal with complicated charging stops. That is why we installed our first charging point back in 2020. Today, to make your stay even more convenient, we are going one step further with two 22 kW charging points available at the entrance to the campsite. Here, we share the same philosophy, we understand your needs, and we help you recharge with complete peace of mind.

🛠️ Two 22 kW charging points available
Our two charging points (wallboxes) are easy to access. With a maximum power output of 22 kW, they allow you to enjoy fast and secure destination charging while you relax.
Typical charging times for a full charge:
- Renault Megane / Scenic E-Tech (with 22 kW option): around 2 hrs 15 mins to 3 hrs (among the fastest for AC charging!)
- Renault 5 E-Tech: around 4 hrs 30 mins to 5 hrs 30 mins (limited to 11 kW by the vehicle)
- MG4 / MG ZS EV (64 kWh battery): around 5 hrs 30 mins to 6 hrs (limited to 11 kW by the vehicle)
- BYD Atto 3 / Dolphin / Seal: around 5 hrs 30 mins to 6 hrs (limited to 11 kW by the vehicle)
- VW ID.3 / ID.4: around 4 hrs to 5 hrs 30 mins depending on battery size
- Tesla Model 3 / Model Y: around 6 to 8 hrs (limited to 11 kW by the vehicle)
- Kia EV3 / EV6: around 5 hrs 30 mins to 8 hrs depending on the battery (limited to 11 kW by the vehicle)
💶 Charging rates and how the charging points work
To ensure everyone can make use of the charging points in a friendly and community-minded spirit, access is simple and transparent:
- For campsite guests (pitches and accommodation): €15 per charge. You are given priority access throughout the year.
- For external visitors: €30 per charge (available outside July and August only).
In July and August, our two charging points are reserved exclusively for guests staying at the campsite, helping to ensure maximum availability during the high season. To start charging, simply ask at reception.
⚠️ Important safety information: charging is prohibited at accommodation units and pitches
For obvious fire safety and technical capacity reasons, it is strictly forbidden to plug your electric or hybrid vehicle into the standard sockets provided at your mobile home, lodge or pitch.
The campsite’s general electrical network is not designed to handle the power required for prolonged vehicle charging. Plugging your vehicle into a standard socket could damage the electrical installation, cause a power cut affecting your entire area of the campsite and create a fire risk.
Our two 22 kW charging points at the entrance have been specifically installed for your comfort and safety. Failure to comply with this essential safety rule will result in an immediate fixed penalty of €100.
🗺️ Explore Southern Brittany with complete peace of mind
Thanks to destination charging, you can plug in your car in the evening, enjoy a relaxed night with a bowl of cider at La Grange, and wake up the next morning with a fully charged battery.
You are then ready to explore the region while keeping your CO₂ emissions to a minimum:
- The beaches of Le Pouldu and Guidel, just a few minutes away,
- The beautiful harbour of Doëlan, within walking distance,
- Characterful towns such as Pont-Aven, Concarneau, Lorient and Quimperlé.
🔄 Need an ultra-fast DC top-up?
If you arrive with a nearly empty battery after a long journey, or simply want to recharge as much as possible before setting off again, there is a very convenient local option. In addition to the campsite’s charging points, you will find ultra-fast charging stations less than 15 minutes away, including at McDonald’s in Quimperlé with Avia Fast chargers. It is one of the best local options in terms of charging power and price. Our reception team will be happy to show you how to get there.
To plan your journeys with peace of mind and find all the charging points in the area, we also recommend checking the online map on Chargemap.
Take the stress out of charging on holiday. Book your pitch or nature accommodation at Camping du Pouldu!
